About The Role
As a Software Engineer L3 (SEL3), your analytical and technical skills will directly impact the stability and quality of our web applications, and the daily professional working lives of our high-profile customers. SEL3’s should be passionate about developing high-quality enterprise-grade solutions to achieve business results. In coordination with the CTO and engineering team, you will be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle including technical design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance and support of cutting-edge applications.

Initial Responsibilities
- Support design, development, testing and deployment of backend services and UI components using ReactJS, NodeJS and NextJS (as well as other languages, libraries, frameworks, and environments as needed) in support of server-side business logic and user workflows of the application.
- Contribute to a DevOps culture and development of continuous integration processes and tools.
- Adhering to established methodologies while continuously analyzing processes for improved performance and adaptability.
- Manage multiple projects and completing deliverables simultaneously, modulating work between frontend and backend work as required, delivering on schedule in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Qualifications
- Expert-level full-stack JavaScript developer.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a proven track record of building and delivering complex web applications.
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Development, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or relevant experience.
- Deep experience with Linux, Express, React & Redux, NodeJS and RabbitMQ.
- Highly proficient with browser DOM environments, including responsive design, cross-browser compatibility and browser extensions.
- Solid understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL), data modeling, and query optimization.
- Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp and resolve complex technical challenges.

Nice to Have, but not Required
- Experience with NextJS, MongoDB, Google Cloud, Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, and other related tools and libraries.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and experience deploying applications in a cloud environment a plus.
- Experience with Typescript, Golang and/or Python is a plus.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment and using related tools (e.g., JIRA, Git).
